Brian Martin, CFA, P.Eng, joined Vanedge in February of 2014 and is solely focussed on investments in the enterprise software space. Vanedge is a $240M venture capital fund and Brian has been involved at the Board level with Canalyst, Boundless Geospatial, MapD, Hytrust and Metafor (acquired by Splunk). Prior to joining Vanedge, Brian developed and implemented multi-year information technology strategies in utilities; his last role in that field was as the Chief Security Officer of BC Hydro. Brian received his M.B.A. from Queen’s School of Business and has a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Alberta.
